Casey-Westfield Community Unit School District #C-4 is committed to providing a nurturing, educational environment in which all students may grow intellectually, physically, morally, emotionally, and socially as they develop to their fullest potential as future citizens.

Goals: Objectives:
Finance--Maintain fiscal responsibility while providing quality educational programming in a restrictive budgetary climate. 1. Monitor revenue and expenditures.
 
 2. Prioritize spending to achieve a balanced budget.
 3. Strive to improve the district's financial profile.
Safety--Provide a safe, welcoming and nuturing environment for all students, parents, staff and community members.  
 1. Implement targeted school violence prevention.
 2. Implement comprehensive bullying plan.
 3. Review current district crisis plans.
 4. Maintain reciprocal reporting with law enforcement.
Curriculum and Instruction--Explore, develop, and implement strategies for meeting the educational needs of all students.  
 1. Continue to implement a school improvement cycle.
 2. Explore options for expanding student learning opportunities.
 3. Continue emphasis on Common Core aligned curriculum and instruction.
Communication--Communicate with all stakeholders regarding issues facing the school district and community.  
 1. Survey recent graduates for input in planning.
 2. Maintain communication with community groups.
 3. Survey parents for input in planning.
 4. Utilize board meetings and media to provide information to the community.
Facilities--Maintain and upgrade facilities to ensure a wide range of opportunities for our students.  
 1. Develop immediate and long term facility needs.
 2. Prioritize needs and develop funding plan.
  


Casey-Westfield Schools will provide the following times and locations for walkers who would like to walk in a gymnasium:

Monroe School Gymnasium 7:00-7:45 am, enter through north doors

Roosevelt School Gymnasium 9:00-10:00 am, enter through east doors

Clean shoes that have not been worn outside are required to walk on the gym floors. Available only when school is in session M-F. Hours are subject to change.
